Melaleuca Cancellation Policy

Ok, I like several of the products.  Some really stand out from anything I've tried anywhere, especially MelaPower and the Renew Lotion.  However, when my husband and I were in the process of moving and wanted to cancel our membership until we settled into our new place, it was like having to learn a new dance!!   I mean come on, cancelling the membership should be called the Melaleuca Shuffle!

I called customer service and explained the situation of us moving and that we'd like to cancel the membership.  She mentioned other options and that if we really wanted to cancel that I'd have to send in a letter through the postal mail. You can do everything but brush your teath on their website yet you can't cancel online or even through the phone!   I understand their reasoning in that they've had problems with spiteful people (ex-spouses etc.) canceling memberships that weren't theirs, but there absolutely must be some other way!

Has anyone else had this problem?

Yeah you have to be careful there about using ebay to get products from Melaleuca - scam is right! I know it is very risky and against the rules to buy the Melaleuca products on ebay, so I don't think they will like what I'm about to say. I admit I got lucky and bought some of the Melapower and it turned out not to be a scam. I'm glad I didn't get ripped off and the laundry detergent was great! I didn't want to keep buying Melaleuca products on ebay though or I know I'd eventually get scammed, so I just decided to go legit and get a membership. It turns out to be much easier than going through all the trouble of constantly trying to avoid a scam and getting these things on the black market! I'm glad I did sign up because I ended up making some really good friends too. The business side of it isn't for me yet, I just want their stuff.
